Partnership Kicks Off During CPI Florida at Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Wellington
Wellington, Florida-January 28, 2021- Green Is the New Blue, a non-profit organization that strives to reduce the environmental impact of horse shows and call equestrians to action for a more sustainable sport, is proud to partner with the CPI (College Preparatory Invitational) Horse Show, an organization that allows young equestrians to explore the college equestrian experience through a clinic, competition and a college fair feature.
As part of the partnership, Green Is the New Blue developed an Environmental Essay Scholarship, Environmental Steward Championship, and a college fair feature to promote environmental studies. The Environmental Essay Scholarship was created to inspire new ideas and raise consciousness of action in regard to our relationship with our planet. The Environmental Steward Championship, which will be awarded following CPI New Jersey 2021, is designed to give students resume writing experience and identify students serving as environmental leaders within their communities.
Within the event program, students could find a list of environmental programs for each college in attendance and follow up with questions at the Green Is the New Blue college fair table. The table also highlighted Green Is the New Blue's established initiatives, such as Refuse to Use and the Living Jump.
